4 The Authority | February 2025 PMAA M ember P rogram B enefits for A uthorities Don’t Miss Out on Potential Savings for your Authority in 2025 PMAA is the largest association in the Commonwealth specifically representing the interests of municipal authorities by providing services that include government advocacy, education and training, publications, and group programs. By maintaining close contact with state agencies and officials, other local government associations, and private consultants, PMAA serves as a clearinghouse for any questions our members may have and provides sources of information such as sample resolutions, by-laws, job descriptions, rules and regulations, and more. In addition, the Association’s legal counsel is available to answer the more complex legal concerns impacting authorities. As a PMAA member, authorities can participate in group programs offering discounted rates. These programs have been through committees to ensure PMAA continues to offer the very best services to the membership. As authority needs change, PMAA has the ability to modify or add group programs to meet the changing environment. We encourage you to review the options available and reach out if you have any questions on how your authority can benefit in the new year. • 1Mark™ This is a web-based solution that provides authorities with a low-cost, monthly subscription plan for managing GIS Mapping, Field LEAD Inventory and PA-1Call tickets.
