Approximately 16 representatives from TNC properties, and a public drinking water supplier, participated in the site visit. They travelled from Michigan, Maine, New York, Maryland, Virginia and Georgia to see and hear about the Authority’s watershed and water system activities and forestry programs. The locations visited included the Authority’s Wild Creek Office, the Wild Creek and Penn Forest Reservoirs, two recently harvested timber stands, and one stand being proposed for a timbering project. Except for the cloudy and foggy weather, which limited visibility and the scenic views, a great time was had by all and the visitors left with a deep appreciation and better understanding of the authority, its water system and the active forest management of its 22,000 + acre watershed property. Authority personnel who participated were Executive Director Steve Repasch, Police Officer-In-Charge Eric Yeakel, and our Consulting Forester Rankin Smith. S
